9 Month check up with Pediatrician

Miss Addison went to see her pediatrician today and once again did great!! She is the talk of the office and all the nurses love to see how big she has gotten. She is 26 inches long and still weighed in at 14 lbs 6oz (same as home nurse visit last week).

For her 9 month age she is in the 7th percentile for length and 3rd percentile for weight. Her adjusted age (6 weeks less) she is about 50th percentile for length and 10th percentile for weight. She seems to be long and lean...hmmmm....wonder why??

She continues to meet all her milestones but is not crawling yet. HOWEVER.... she can get across the living room in a hurry!!! She can scoot, pivot, roll, and squirm her way to wherever she wants to go. She is strong and determined!!

Her teeth have really come in too. You can see them if she smiles big but I haven't been able to capture a pic yet. She loves peek-a-boo (hiding is more fun than finding), strings, paper, daddy's prickly hair and his ears!! We love to read books and she is making lots of different sounds. She can smack her lips and click her tongue. She likes to fake cough and thinks it is hilarious to sneeze!!

She is just getting SO big SO fast!!

9 Months Old and Neuro check up!!!

Our baby girl is not such a baby anymore!! I was at Carter's the other week to get some bigger clothes and walked by a preemie outfit which I thought was SO small!! And to think.... preemie clothes used to be too big for her!! She continues to grow at a good rate!!

Our home nurse came out today for a visit and Addison did fantastic! She flies through the testing by basically doing everything on command. She actually is right on target for her motor skills (which she had previously tested a bit behind) and tested ahead on psych/cognitive/emotion!!

She weighed in at 14lbs and 6oz and is 26 1/4 inches long. We have just put her into 9 month sleepers (she needed more length for those long legs!!) and 6 month outfits.

She loves to sit in her high chair and eat her cereal with a spoon. However, the cereal has backed up the poop department so we are trying to "fix" that. Other than that, we have stayed healthy and are SO thankful for that!!

BEDHEAD!!
